What do you guys think the chance of us drafting him. He is climbing up draft boards and seems to be another stud at corner. Having him and revis would be lethal. I know people will say it doesnt matter without a pass rush, but i feel we can take care of that in Free agency or in second round. So if it comes down to taking the best player available, then it may be Jenkins. It makes as much sense as taking a linebacker. The only other guy i would like is gholston....What do you guys think?
Vernon Gholston is the guy we need. He will be the next feared pass rusher in the NFL. Vernon Gholston, Kerry Rhodes, David Harris, and Darrelle Revis sounds like a good core to build around on defense. Potential shutdown corner, Do it all LB, Good all around Saftey and a pass rushing OLB. If we can create more pressure next season I think the sky is the limit for this defense. The pieces are there.
I know Jenkins will more than likely go in the first round and he has the Ohio State background I don't think the JETS will take him with their first pick. I feel Aqib Talib and Antoine Cason are better corners.
