Someone explain this to me.

I've never had season tickets, but I happened to be sitting in that end zone for that game. It was only once we got into the car after the game that we found out how lucky the Jets had been.
It was a close call, which is why it shouldn't have been overturned. But if I had to wager, I'd say it was because Floyd didn't get a full "tuck" of the football under his arm. Watching it in slow motion makes it clearly look like an incomplete pass. Watching it in real time makes it look extremely close. IMO, he had possession between both hands as he caught it, tucked it incorrectly, which gave Leonhard the ability to knock it out with a big hit. It's one of those, "we won, so who the f*** cares".
That was clearly a catch. Floyd secured the ball, took two steps and then tried to shift it to his hands. That is possession. The refs sucked all year. Also, we still won the game so why bother complaining about one play in the Jets' biggest victory since 1998?
A travesty, I was up all Friday night thinking about this. The injustice of the world. I was thinking Leonard fumble and just couldn't sleep. Just simple bodily functions like eating and shitting were near impossible. Just horrible, it was right up there with that month I spent in a foxhole outside of Bastogne.
You wrote "is" there as if the man still plays in the NFL. He has not played since 1997. Also, he was only 6'0" which didn't make him too tall relative to other WRs.
