My fantasy team has been the suck, mostly because I don't have solid RB's. I've been trying like hell to make a trade but no one seems to want to trade anything in this league. I've made better offers than this for a RB but finally got someone (#1 team in the league) to agree to what I thought was a better deal for me. With Vincent Jackson sitting in my IR slot and returning soon I pulled the trigger on this: Receive Rashard Mendenhall, Pit RB Receive Percy Harvin, Min WR Send Aaron Rodgers, GB QB Send DeSean Jackson, Phi WR New roster: QB: Eli Manning RB: Mendenhall, Charles, Matthews, Hillis, Barber, Snelling WR: A. Johnson, V. Jackson, P. Harvin, S. Breaston, L. Moore TE: Hernendez D: GB K: Crosby At 2-4 it's going to be tough, but I think I may be able to make a run at the playoffs with this roster. What say you?
You should win some games but I think you can improve some more. The way I see it, never stop wheeling and dealing if it works in your favor. You can either get REALLY strong at RB or balance out your roster. I would try to swing Charles, Mathews, and Harvin for a top RB and mid-WR. I tend to hate on WR in fantasy, maybe because I benched Calvin Johnson, Jeremy Maclin, and Roy Williams this past sunday. They're always feast or famine.
Not a bad idea. I have to wait for this one to clear and then I'll start trying to deal some more. It's tough in this league though. No one seems to want to make any trades.
Just pulled another move - at 2-4 I have to be aggressive First, I picked up anthony gonzalez off waivers, then I made this trade Receive LeSean McCoy, Phi RB from Bois to Bench Receive Hines Ward, Pit WR from Bois to Bench Send Andre Johnson, Hou WR from Bench to Bois Send Ryan Mathews, SD RB from Bench to Bois
Good trade. I think you gain about 6 or 7 points a game with McCoy and will only lose a little on Hines ward. With rapelisberger back ward will have some great games.
