So I did a franchise in madden, and I made our secondary; Revis and Cromartie at CB, Atogwe at FS, and Leonhard at SS. Just wanted everyone to know that I only gave up 15 passing yards, and Cromartie made 2 rediculous interceptions. E. Smith as the nickel worked smoothly and lowery at the 3rd CB position seemed natural to him. Tanny better whip out the goods and get Atogwe here asap. Madden is the best indicator of how are secondary can look if we have all the pieces in place. Give it a try for yourself, you will love it
I kicked a 60 yard field goal with Nick Folk. i've been playing Madden for 11 years and i've never kicked a field that long ever, i almost woke up my parents by screaming "holy shit" so loud. and yeah, every game i've played with Cromartie as a Jet he's had an INT. weird.
I once put Kris Jenkins at TE and he was a beast. Madden is the best indicator of how our 370 pound nose tackle can look at tight end. Tanny and Rex better put Jenkins at TE next season, we have all of the other pieces in place.
lmao i use Hunter and Turner as my 2nd and 3rd TE's and in the "heavy" goal line formation Jenkins is auto-subed in. every once in a while i'll make sure he gets a goal line TD reception Jumbo Elliot style.
I've always wondered why the Jets don't put a nickel back AND a 3rd CB on the field. I can't tell if this is a legitimate thread or if this is just an epic troll by Franzman. I hope it's the latter, but fear the former.
Gotta say Atogwe @ FS had alot better results for me in Madden than Cro @ corner. But to be fair man coverage in Madden is terrible. Revis will get burnt all day covering #1s in man on that game, which is so unrealistic.
No, I'm not pissed. I'm just amazed that you actually think Madden is the best indicator of how good a secondary can be. Also, you do realize that the #3 corner is the nickel corner, right?
If you run the "Miami" Package on Goaline it will sub in your DT at TE automatically. They catch it everytime on those delayed release routes.
I put Gomez at RE and he had 17 sacks. Who is Gomez you ask? Some guy I drafted as an OLB in year 3 of my franchise. So what Rex needs to do is find a guy...anywhere...named Gomez who plays OLB, put him at RE and we are instantly one of the best pass rushing D's in the NFL. Get it done Tanny!!!
