This was their rankings when the previous year when they were 10-6 and went to Pitt in the playoffs. Its way too high for this year. Overall 77 Offense 71 Defense 79 Special Teams 78
Most realistic by far. I know some folks can't help being a nyj fanboy, but lets face facts, playing online with the nyj this year is not going to be an easy experience. New york will still be my single player franchise team, but now it looks like I have to find a new online team to use. 77 is not going to cut it for me.....
I'll use the Jets no matter what in Madden... Good safeties...Cover Corners, solid LB core...Burner with Coles, can throw it high to JMac...Just have to adjust to Martin's speed since he obviously won't be 94 overall or what he was and try to utilize Baker, that's tough. And the line will be solid...Now, all this is in terms of Madden.
Who here is going to have Pennington start week one in Madden? What do you all think he will be rated? I think he will be rated 80.
Don't want Reggie Bush. I'm going to work with Leon Washington and Cedric Houston to build a backfield for the future. If I trade Penny, it will be for a pass rusher.
I will probably start Pennington, but once he loses a few games or hey...gets injured...Clemens will jump right in.
In franchise mode I'll start Penny until I have a good feel for the game/playbook. Once comfy I'll win the rookie of the year award w/ Clemens and then he'll proceed to dominate until I trade him for numerous 1st rounders or lose interest playing the computer.
