I get basically the same draft after every season and there never is any good Free Agents, I am in my 5th season and every year I get highest ranked DT is a 5th rounder, almost entirely the first round is DEs, and WRs are always 3rd rounders and below, the biggest RB this last offseason was 203 pounds, and the guy I drafted had speed of 77, even though he ran a 4.41 40 time, this is frustrating, All of the good players at some positions are getting old and there is no way of replacing them, especially DT
YES!!! THAnk YOU , All oF the Draft's Top ProSpectS are DEs and they are all undersized , i was in a season with the jets and made a trade for Derric Burgess for my first rounder but gained bacK a FirsT RoUnDeR from the browns for Laverneous a 2nd and 3rd, and a DT that i had drafted, I needed a WR now, and im thinking okay, there has to be a new reciever. i go to Mel's big board, and the top 15 recruits DEs and 1 CB and a QB and HB, i think fuck, i just traded Laverneous so i could get a good rookie WR, and there arent any good ones until the 4th round.
that's why you gotta buy/rent NCAA and export the draft classes, thats what I do. There is a why to randomize names so you dont need to do it yourself. You can just rename the top guys.
Yeh, it is brutal, I am not so worried about the reciever because they are easy to build up thier stats, bad DT is hard to get them to move up if they only start in the 60s, Robertson sucks, I traded for Kevin Williams, paid alot for him but still have zero pass rush, Dewayne is soo brutal in Madden, I am thinking about paying huge for Ngata with a 1st rounder and some players
There is always a ton a Ends in the drafts. There also seems to be atleast 2 safties in the top 10 every year also. I also find WR very hard to progress. I can get him 7 points in training camp but he wont gain any points throughout the season. My O-line is stacked though. They progress so damn fast. My RB is also amazing so I run the ball all the damn time causing my OL to get my pancakes.
