This probably bodes well for Mosley. With him and Jenkins healthy plus Copeland back from suspension, that's a crowded room.

too bad. I liked luvu but i guess with copeland back and jenkins back plus basham and langi playing well and seem to get more snaps then luvu, he became expendable. I'm really surprised we didn't waive dnaiel brown instead. I haven't seen him really take a snap or catch a ball at TE and we still have wesco who hasn't really been used. not sure why we need 4 TEs when we will only use herndon and griffin

WTF I would not have waived Luvu.

He''s one of the few rushers that can bend around the edge, and he hits like a truck.
I would've loved to have seen a little roughing the passer this upcoming Monday night!

It's a bit surprising, but not that much imo. Why not Luvu? In 4 games he has 4 tackles and no sacks. Does he have any pressures or QB hits? Perhaps he can be signed to the PS whereas another player couldn't. Who would you have waived instead?

He was inactive yesterday. Not sure that I'd have had McLellan out there over him but we can't really complain considering how it turned out.

I get keeping McClellan as he's more of an inside backer and we're getting desperate there.
With Jenkins and Copeland back, I guess the choice was Luvu or Langi or Basham.

I'd probably have dropped Langi, or made room elsewhere.

Bad cut here...Luvu is one of those 110% guys.... If he gets picked up by the Pats and plays against us next week, I'll be pissed.

From someone who saw him up-close in camp, not thrilled with this move.

Did anyone realize he wasn't on the field yesterday?

I would have moved on from someone else personally, but I can't pretend that Luvu is a make or break guy for our defense. He wasn't even in uniform and the D played fine.

Basham has played well. Been a nice surprise.
I'd have kept him and Luvu.

I did not notice, but I also started drinking generously as the Jets lead grew. :D

Definitely not a make or break guy, he's still a back end of the roster type of player.
I liked the hustle, tenacity and speed though, and could see him grow as a situational player here.

Classic Jets fan reactions by overrating JAGs.

Remember when people thought McGuire was actually good?

Mclellen is an ILB he was avery williamson's replacement on the roster. until mosely returns he's the backup in case hewitt or cashman go down. Luvu was a rotational situational pass rusher. he is behing jenkins, copeland, langi, and basham. and all 4o of them are back and playing
