im not sure if this is deserving of a thread but i got goosebumps after LT picked up that first down and started smacking his helmet like a madman. I've watched lt b4 and i dont ever recall him being this emotional. I really feel like he picked up the crowd and the rest of his team mates with his determination. He was almost mad man like after some of those plays lol. Any one can get a .gif of lt goin nuts?
Did he ever beat them? I remember they lost in 06? then in 07 again patriots undefeated and L.T. was stuck on the sidelines I believe. So yea this meant alot to him.
LT wants to win a ring, he knows that once his time with the Jets is up he's retiring so he wants to go out a winner. He's going to play harder than ever this season
You know what I'd like from the back page of the New York Post tomorrow? A picture of LT flying over a pile of players for the first down late in the game with the caption "Over the Hill."
He was great today. He continues to play like this and the Jets Offense is going to be pretty damn good.
That would definitely be a great line. That play by LT to close out the game was a thing of beauty. You also got to like Rex's call to go for it there on fourth down and seal the game. I bet some of our earlier coaches would have punted the ball at that point.
L.T was amazing today. He played with nothing but heart, guts, and a will to work harder than anyone else for extra yards. He was electric after every play, I loved it. Another player that played with alot of energy would have to be Braylon Edwards.
This game definitely meant a lot to LT. Don't forget this: "When you go to the middle of our field, when you start doing the dance that Shawne Merriman is known for, that's disrespectful to me. And I can't sit there and watch that. And so, yeah, I was very upset. And just the fact that they showed no class at all. Absolutely no class. And maybe that comes from their head coach. So you know, there you have it." -LT
