I'm hoping for a good year out of LT. I'm sure he feels like he's got something to prove so hopefully that motivates him to go out and show some flashes of the LT of old.
He's one of us now so i'm behind him 100%.

I have a really good feeling about this signing. Of course, I also had that same feeling about Brett Favre, so nevermind.

I'm hoping LT teaches Greene a couple things like "how not to get injured" The way greene runs scares me. Straight with no thought to run someone over

LT is going to be a special player for us.....the fact that a 10 year veteran is willing to participate in all the offseason activities and take on a leadership role right out of the gate....shows that he's serious, and will do what it takes to win.

I hope he stays healthy....and produces some stellar numbers this year in his limited role.

That's the nature of the beast. He probably isn't going to have a real long NFL career.

The only similarity between Jacobs and Greene is that neither are afraid of contact. Jacobs is taller and heavier but is more liable to injury because he has a far more upright running style whereas Greene runs with about the lowest pad level I have ever seen from a man his size. Greene is also more elusive and is able to make much sharper cuts than Jacobs.

I am not suggesting that Greene is not at continuing risk for his share of injuries but the basis of his running style dictates that he is more likely to hurt others than he is himself. Jacobs, like Eddie George before him, is a big, vertical target whereas Greene's very compact running style leaves a comparatively smaller area of his body exposed/susceptible to punishment/injury.

    Time will tell.....

 Yea, I remember that vividly. It happened right in front of our seats. Law looked like a deer in the headlights, and LT blew by without even slowing down a little.

From the sound of it I like it, what's not to like. I wonder if Braylon made it or is he busy oiling Kerry?

Makes me really hope we draft a young back this year.

Having someone young with talent get to learn behind LT for 2 years can only mean good things.
