There were a lot of Jets that shined last night, but I thought that Lowery's interception was one of the best highlights of the game. You could see him read the throw as he made a great break on the ball and a really impressive catch, sort of back-handed. I realize that we already had a significant lead at that point, but I thought it was a real backbreaker of a play.

Just thought I'd give him some props since I haven't seen it mentioned.

In a game where catching seemed to be difficult, he did do well to make the read and catch.

He's never going to be great, but he is a ball hawk and has found ways to contribute.

I agree it was a tough intercerption to make and was crucial for the shut out.. I have always been a lowery fan..he studies the game hard and is a ball hawk who could make a good safety one day if we ever want to send him back there.

Which I think makes him a candidate for a great safety. He's done a good job.

I think he could be a very good safety too. We proved this year that a 3 S rotation works with Leonhard always in as the QB of the D, E. Smith as a hard hitting safety and Rhodes as the pass covering safety.

If we plug in Lowery in place of Rhodes and use him ala Byrd (Bills CB converted to S) I think he can be very productive... plus he can't tackle worse than Rhodes can he :p?

Lowery and Strickland both have played solid ball for us this year
