JP Losman? I would say he and Cutler are quite different. Cutler seems to be more of a pocket passer who does not mind having to leave the pocket but doesn't really look to do it often. I think there are more people comparing Cutler to Favre, at least style-wise...as he is somewhat of a gunslinger who has a cannon but also makes alot of risky throws.

Losman is comparable to Plummer but he makes ppor decisions repeatedly, makes bad throws on the run, and is totally inconsistent. Losman has had flashes of brilliance but will then come right back and turn the ball over....

Cutler has a future. Losman doesn't.

Cutler is compared more to Kyle Boller how he came out of nowhere and flew up mock boards and was drafted a lot higher then expected. I don't really believe in saying one person is another person but in terms of draft status Cutler is similar to Boller. Cutler's arm is stronger though...

Cutler also doesn't have a strange love for Brett Favre.

Losman was also quoted as saying that seeing Bret Farve in short shorts working the in garden with dirt all over him was "awesome". Thats borderline to "coming out". I think Cutler is engaged to be married (to a female of course). They really don't have any similarities.

Comparing Cutler to Boller isn't fair. Boller came out of an offensive system at Cal that produced great Qb's like Joey Harrington, Akili Smith, and the yet to be seen Aaron Rogers.
