He was also a fantastic outfielder, which gets overlooked a lot. RIP to one of the greatest ever.

Not to mention lifetime .305 average over 20 plus years, including his last two severely post prime years with the Brewers. Not much this guy couldn't do.

He played on some excellent teams in his first 5 or 6 seasons, and some good ones in the next few years, but since only 1 NL team made the postseason then, and he played in a small market, had a much lower profile than other players (most notably Mays and Mantle). He only made the postseason 3 times in 23 years, but in those three years he had a postseason BA/OBP/SLG split of .362/.405/.710. And, as noted above, he was an excellent right fielder, too, winning the Gold Glove 3 times.

Fun fact. Tommy and Hank Aaron hold the record for the most home runs by brothers. Tommy had 13 in his career. Hank chipped in with 755.

Like The Gretzky’s Brent and Wayne combined for 895 goals, Wayne had 894

The Sutter brothers actually have more total points though.

Brent Sutter had a great line when asked how he could tell the difference between Darryl and Duane: "One's dumb and the other is stupid."

Do you mean Ron and Rich? Those are the twins. Darryl was four years older than he, and Duane was two years older, so telling them apart wouldn't be much of a chore.
