I'd be down for Mario Williams if we get a first for Abe which we probably will.

I wouldn't mind taking Williams at #4 then o-line with whatever we get for Abe and o-line again in round 2.

I dont see us signing Ramsey and then drafting Cutler. But I think it is between Cutler and Ferguson personally.

I really believe the Jets will fill needs through FA with solid, if unspectacular players. That gives them the flexibility to draft for the BPA vs. need in the first two rounds. I don't think a defensive coach like EM will bypass the best defensive player in the draft if he's sitting there at #4. JAbe just doesn't fit the profile of the type of player he wants, and he also know that getting pressure on the quarterback will make every other defensive player look and perform that much better.

    4th pick- M. Williams
    22nd or 29th-Mangold
    38th pick-Jean Max-Gilles

    Sign Makeatu from Baltimore

    Sounds damn good

except for the fact that our skill positions still suck on offense

A good O-line providing pass protection and run blocking would make any decent skill position player shine. It would also stop the defenses from blitzing constantly...even Bollinger would do great

Boller has lots of potential...he has a great arm but he was injured half of last year and the Ravens running game wasn't anything more than average...it also comes down to playcalling and selling a good PA

Trade for Ramsey and sign Bentley. Draft Williams or Hawk at 4. Draft Ben Watson with the pick we get for Abe and the best available RT at the top of round 2. With our front 5 on O and front 7 on D now set, we can just go BPA the rest of the way.

    4th: Mario Williams
22nd/29th: Ryan O'Callogen or whatever.. (the kid from california)
38th: Nick mangold or Greg eslinger. Who ever is available. Mangold over Eslinger.

sorry but Coles and McCareins are not a top notch receiving corps. Coles may have good 40 times but he does not have good football speed. McCareins is a turtle who has big problems getting separation.

I have no problem with any pick EM may go for. The ONE problem I have is with the QB situation. I hope we haven't taken the " THIS IS THE BEST WE CAN DO" crap and settle for the best QB we can sign who, at one time, threw to Moss when the dude ain't on the team.
