    Likely to make the roster.

    Total (46)
    Offense(23)
    QB (3) Sanchez, Brunell, McElroy
RB (4) Greene, LT, McKnight, Powell
WR (5) Holmes, Mason, Plax, McKnight, Turner
    C (1) Mangold
    G (3) Slauson, Moore, Turner
    OT(3) Brick, Hunter, Ducasse
    FB (1) Terminator
    TE (3) Keller, Cumberland, Mulligan

    Defense (21)
S (4) Leonhard, Smith, Pool, Cook
CB (6) Revis, Cromartie, Strickland, Wilson, Cole, Lowery
DE (3) DeVito, Pitoitua, Wilkerson, ???
    DT(3) Pouha, Ellis, Dixon
    ILB (2) Harris, Scott
    OLB (3) Pace, Thomas, Westerman

    Special Teams (4)
    K (1) Yes
    P (1) Yes
    LS (1) Purdum
    PR (1) Kerley

This leaves 7 spots open. Likely 2 LBers, two DL, perhaps a TE or another OL for depth, and likely another DB or two knowing Rex.

Looks like there is likely to be some good opportunity in camp this year. What am I missing?

edit: added Cook (S) and Dixon (DT)

DL Marcus Dixon will most likely make the team. S Emmanuel Cook and OLB Garrett McIntyre are probably safe bets too.

I'll go with list, but I listed em in likelihood order, not depth.

I listed Kerley as a returner. Looks like we may have 6 WRs. Am I wrong?

And Josh Mauga. No way do we go in with 2 ILBs with our only depth a guy who rotated inside in the past, but is slated for OLB (Westerman).

He has 6 WR's listed, just Kerley as PR first. I hope that's what he means.

Mauga and another special teams backer should definitely be on the final roster.

I'm hoping that Nick Bellore earns a roster spot.

Marcus Dixon- I personally feel rex has something special planned for him (surprise player for 2011)

Josh Mauga- Played well when given the chance quality back up ILB and ST player

Emanuel Cook- I think he is the reason were not resigning Dig, he's a young hard hitter

Martin Tevaseu- Very big boy decent 3rd string NT

Zane Taylor- He'll remain inactive all season likely but from what I read he has to much upside to let go (Moore's future replacement)

The final two are more of a question to me but personally I think it will be:

Garrett McIntyre- CFL player had 8 sacks last year and he's a very big OLB prospect at 270, I just cant see this team going into the season with anything less then 4 OLB and he seems to be the best one currently on the roster

Byron Landor- Magic number looks to be 11 DBs with Cook it makes 10, I think Lowery will play more CB then FS. This kid looks like exactly what Rex wants, hard hitter in the secondary recorded some serious stats senior year (Totaled team-high 127 tackles (78 solo), 4.5 for loss, team-high three fumble recoveries, five pass breakups, one interception, one sack, one hurry and one forced fumble)

I was trying to go for nearly sure locks to make the roster. I agree that LBers will need to play good teams to make the roster. Some other options look like Satele and Laury. None of those four really look to be threatening for a starting spot.

I understand what you did - you also said seven spots were left unfilled.

Lance Laury is a free agent.

...and just because a player isn't a starter, doesn't mean you shouldn't include him on the final roster. Some of these lesser-knowns will make a big impact on special teams.

    I'll give it a whirl I guess...

    QB- Sanchez, Brunell, McElroy (3)
RB- Greene, LT, McKnight, Powell (4)
    FB- Conner (1)
WR- Holmes, Plax, Mason, Kerley, McKnight or Turner (5)
TE- Keller, Cumberland, Mulligan or Zinger (3)
    T- Brick, Hunter, Ducasse (3)
    G- Slauson, Moore, Turner (3)
    C- Mangold , Felix (2)

    That's 24 offense

DE- Wilkerson, DeVito, Pitoitua, Dixon, Gilbert or Tevesau (who is a DT) (5)
    DT- Pouha, Ellis (2)
OLB- Pace, Thomas, Westerman, McIntyre (4)
    MLB- Harris, Scott, Mauga (3)
CB- Revis, Cro, Wilson, Strickland, Cole (5)
S- Pool, Smith, Leonhard, Lowery, Cook (5)

    That's 24 defense

    ST- Folk, Punter, Perdum (3)

Could see another corner added, simply because Rex loves them. Also another LB.. maybe Brashton Satele? Or can we keep 6 WR's?
