Which way do I go this week? Leon vs. Miami Foster vs. Baltimore Leon- Although it was garbage time, he did get a 100+ yards against a good defense and received 23 carries to Barlow's 4. Foster- He's comming off two straight 100+ games and now will be receiving ALL the carries now that DeAngelo williams is out with an ankle. But again Foster is going against a Baltimore Defense who allows something like 3.1yds a carry (plus they're my starting Defense) Any input would be nice.
I'm on the fence....if we could know if washington would get 15+ carries I would say him....but as it stands now we don't know what mangini will do this week.
your rbs are terrible this week...i hope you have a stud on a bye or something i'd go with foster just b/c he has the higher upside id make it a point never to play leon
Nope, don't have a stud on a bye. My other starting RB is Reggie Bush and despite him not having good rushing numbers I'll take his NFL Leading receptions in a points-per-reception league any day. And, I'll take my 4-1 team against you anyday aswell!
in a league with reception pts reggie is money, but my team is actually stacked right now 5-0 106 ppg
My league is the deepest you can get with 16 teams....talent is spread pretty thin so there aren't any teams that are that stacked. Having said that mine is pretty good for my league. QB-Pennington WR-Terrell Owens WR-Andre Johnson WR-Jerricho RB-Reggie Bush RB-DeShaun Foster TE-McMichael K-Jeff Wilkins D-Baltimore My strength is really my Defense, Kicker and WRs, but with Harrington coming in as relief for Culpepper McMichaels numbers will hopefully continue to improve like they did last week where he lead all TEs in receptions and yards. Plus, despite Foster playing against Baltimore this week, his numbers have been pretty good with the return of Steve Smith in Carolina's offense. And of course the Pennington to Jerricho combo has been money and will continue to be money with the minor hic-cups like last week vs Jacksonville (when they hook-up for a TD at a home game just look for the guy going nutty in sec. 135 just beneath the overhang...hah)
andre has been money and so has the cotchery pick you definently got lucky w/ foster playing great the past 2 weeks and williams hurting his ankle im in a 12 team league and my team is just unfair right now...my team is completely solid all round, but the reason im dominating(averaging over 30pt victories) is all b/c of mcnabb
After watching Leon Washington segment on the Jets Official sight I have made my decision. Leon it is!
Also take into considertion that Carolina will be missing DeAngelo Williams, not to mention up against Baltimore's defense...
I'm beginning to think the only reason Leon got as many carries as he did last week was due to (1) being blown out, and (2) Mangini was getting Leon the carries because he was playing in his home town. What do you think? Or am I looking to deeply into this. Was just because Barlow's 1.2 average blows? I keep going back and forth every friggin hour.
