Lendale to the Jets at 4?

    LenDale White - RB - Player


    USC RB LenDale White has heard talk about where he may land in April's draft.
    "I've been hearing all kinds of stuff," White said in an interview. "Chad (Pennington) said I might go at No. 4 to the Jets. There's been No. 5 to Green Bay, 10 to Carolina. There's been talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots. It just depends on who needs what at the right time and how I work out for them." Feb. 19 - 4:30 pm et

    10 to Carolina? Does he mean Arizona? Or Carolina? Both are legitimate options, but Id rather trade down to around 10ish and take best RB available, whether thats White or Williams

    I think you got this tidbit from Lendale out of the Denver Post (White went to high school out here). In the article, LW also said CP's been working out in Florida at the IMG facility there. The article didn't mention how well he's been rehabbing or whether CP's been throwing, though.

    Getting info from Penny about the Jets might not be the best thing to do right now. I doubt he is involved at all anymore. Unlike with Herm.

    Hah. Chad obviously didn't want the Jets to draft a QB at 4 to beat him out of a job. :lol: :lol:

    Oh god not Lendale White. That guy has bust written All over him. His coaches say he is immature and doesn't work hard enough. I don't want that on the Jets we need quality guys.

    I like White myself.... I would trade down to get him he looks like he can hammer NFL D's and he has a nose for the endzone.

    I doubt we take him at #4. If we trade down and he's there at around 10 or so..that might be a possibility.
