How will the NFL handle medical marijuana? If it is Dr. prescribed will it be allowed? As a broader question, what about other companies who have a drug policy? Will MM be allowed and could/should it be taken off the banned substance list?

I can't see it. HGH is banned by the league but a doctor could prescribe it for a player to treat an injury. Same rules would apply I would imagine. _
until the federal gov't starts treating weed like the states are it will remain on the banned list. the feds hold the league's anti trust exemption. league won't do anything that may jeopardize that. sending a message to kids that athletes smoke weed and its ok might just irk the federal gov't a little.
