    TE Michael Allan
    6' 6"+/260
    Whitworth

    1100 Recieving Yards in 2006
    24 TD Receptions in 05 & 06
    Averaged around 20 Yards Per Reception in 05 & 06

    Those are numbers you cannot ignore for a TE regardless of level, those numbers are obscene for a TE, which is why he was the only D3 Player in the country who was invited to the combines, where word has it he put on a show

    =============

    QB Toby Korrodi
    6' 4"/235
    Central Missouri St.

    Great size and a cannon for an arm - the velocity on his fastball was actually measured as the best at the combines, as in better than JaMarcus Russell who we all know has a bazooka

    Completed around 68% of his passes as a Junior and Senior combined, which is very impressive, but even more impressive has been his TD-to-INT ratio over the same two years, 52 TD's to only 7 INT's :eek:hmy: while throwing for nearly 5,000 Yards over the same two year span

    This kid has Great Size, he's built like a country horse, a cannon for an arm, and his numbers have been outstanding

    COULD BE A STEAL in the later rounds

    BTW, the Jets attended both of these workouts and I believe Mangini interviewed both of these kids as well .. I'm not sure about the exact circumstances, but I know the Jets either attended their workouts, interviewed them personally, or both .. and I mean top brass like Mangini himself

    That may be the case with more of the players you listed, probably is, but these are the two I'm aware of .. Cimini posted about Mangini attending the Courtney Brown workout in his blog, and I saw a report a couple of weeks ago about the Jets doing likewise with Usama Young

    Not that it says anything definitive about the Jets intentions, chances are they're just doing their homework of some of this small school kids, but I just thought I'd share that with the board
