The final cost of the new stadium is twice what was initially expected. Most of the construction was done during the biggest housing construction boom of my lifetime, that had to play a part in increasing the costs. Now that the economy is tanking they are finishing up the work. I bet if they had waited a few years to build the new stadium they would have saved a bundle. Just bad timing, maybe the worst possible timing when you put it all together, meaning the building costs and selling PSLs in a bad economy.
