Don't want to sound all ground and pound ..but I feel yesterday's game highlights what we are missing in the running game, we have two very similar backs in Powell and forte but really lack a wrecking ball type of back to change it up.when Fitz started going all stevie wonder at qb we really needed to turn to a runing game for at least a drive or two to calm everyone down but frankly we don't have one that we can lean on between the tackles.

Games against the chiefs , steelers and seahawks will be won by having a fully rounded offense..not sure we have that with the current roster and game planning,

The running game was fairly effective... When they were actually running the ball.

Our running game is decent. Chan is a pass first OC, though, and he tends to deviate from it.

Forte was doing just fine running the ball up the gut. If the coaches would get out of the way and let him do his job we might have won yesterday.

We had one of those types (Robinson). I thought he was on IR, but according to the roster, he must have been waived/injured. Mac couldn't help that.
