Schotty had a brilliant game plan going into today and called a great game. He seems to have hit his stride, hats off to him. :up:
yep...he deserves some props...his gameplan limited Ten's pass rush threat all game with the quick drops from Favre.
Favre released his balls after like less than 2 seconds all game. Titans had no chance of going near him, let alone sacking. What a brilliant game plan. I know I've been very harsh on him in the past, but for this week, I am willing to tip my hats off to him.
This is what happens when our coaching staff gets extended time to gameplan. They always come out geniuses after long weeks. That's why getting that first round bye is so important.
the quick passing was a great way to take advantage of their injured corners. they played off our receivers at the line so they could rush the passer, but we just kept doing quick-strikes. when they started bumping our guys, we put the ball in space and they kept getting called for PI. honestly, our best defense is a ball-control offense. we should keep running the ball like we have been and taking the quick strikes on 3rd downs. great formula!
Best game calling all year for Schotty. Leons long TD came after the Jets passed on 2nd down three times in a row. It was the perfect change-up. I love it!
Good game but i think it was the Offense and Favre that executed everything perfect. Great game all around.
All around great effort today, easily best 4 quarter game we've seen from the Jets this year. Both coordinators deserve a ton of credit for the gameplans today, they get alot of abuse on here, not this week though.
just watched most of the game again. just gotta give some credit to Schotty. I've bashed him all year, and I still think that was well deserved, but he did a good job today. just mixing in different plays but not doing anything overly complicated at the same time. Best stat of the game. Ball control... Jets - 40:30 Tits - 19:30 And great job by Brett for converting on all those 3rd downs to keep that time-of-possession rolling :up:

The offensive gameplan was superb! Of course, BF made it a success but Shotty put together the plan and it was awesome. What team wants to play the Jets when they play like this? Keep it up Shotty--please don't take us back down to run, run, pass.
