Mmmmm.... Kind awish he could have tried one more time..

Seeing him crush opponents like the Kool Aid Guy was INSANE...

Damn, if he stayed healthy the past 2 years, I think that goes a long way in those 2 Championship games and maybe puts us over the top....

    uggh

Jenkins could never stay healthy. He was a force when he was on the field though.

Sione Pouha and Kenrick Ellis will be just fine.

It was definitely fun to watch that guy play when he was healthy and rag dolling offensive linemen. It's a shame he couldn't stay healthy. I'm sure we'll be seeing him turn up on SNY or something as an analyst.

His 2008 season was one of the most dominant I've seen from a DT in a long time. It's too bad he couldn't stay healthy these past couple of years, but Pouha's been very good filling in.

The worst news of the year comes early this time. Better than losing him during a game I guess, but I'm struggling to wrap my mind around this. I was really looking forward to Jenkins winning Comeback Player of the Year and carrying this defense the way we always knew he could.

He was fun to watch when he played! Guess I'll be retiring my 77 jersey. Need a new one! Great excuse!

Good for Kris, now just get healthy to live the rest of your life. he is a funny guy, he should be on TV and I wish him the best in his post football life. It's a shame he couldn't stay healthy, a healthy jenkins could have been the difference btw losing int he title game and breaking through but I'm glad he spent parts of 3 years here.

It'd be great if he could replace Warren Sapp's dumbass on NFL Network.

For some reason I'll always think of him on that golf cart in Hard Knocks. He looked like he had a lot of fun with football.

He clobbed Houston's center all game long. So much fun to watch.

Good luck in retirement Big Jenk! And stay healthy and in shape! Rex Ryan may want you back...

Chances are he probably didn't think the season would happen and did nothing but eat all year long. The chances of him going through an entire training camp would have been pretty low.
