Kris Jenkinks- Still Available

    Look, I know its only preseason but just judging our D-line from last regular season we need another big body up front or we will get run over this year. I think it is worth gambling a 3rd-4th rounder on Jenkins. He was arguably the best DT in football before his injuries. Why not take a chance on the guy? We simply cannot count on D-Rob and all the se crappy backups to stop the run.

    Also, I dont think we made a mistake by drafting Rvis instead of a D-lineman. There werent really any good d lineman 3-4 fits early in the draft.

    So how was it a mistake to draft Revis if there was no one worthy of being drafted to play 3-4 d-line in the first? If we didn't draft Revis, all you complainers would be bitching about how bad our defensive backs are. Let the coaches and the GM do their jobs. It worked out last year. We made the playoffs.

    this is like the umpteenth time...

    ...kris jenkins is a pass rusher. he's useless in a 3-4 defense.

    that would be sweet but knowing mangini he's not gonna switch back to a 4-3 now

    Jenkins is constantly hurt every year or so....And it will cost us probably a day 1 pick to get him so........Why?

    We already play 4-3 a fair amount of the time. Look at some tapes.

    we also play a lot of 3 WR sets. that doesn't mean we have to get a pro bowl wide receiver in here so he can take that job

    I agree with you somehwat but our pass rush also sucks mightily.
