if thats the case he must have sidney rice as a top 15 pick.

Bowe is an absolute psycho though.

I can see it if we can get at least one offesnive line upgrade, defensive line upgrade and a starting CB in free agnecy. Then I'd be OK with a WR.

I would be ok with this. It would certainly depend on who else was still on the board but I have been of the opinion that we still need a big strong tall receiver to complement our group and beyond the big 2, there aren't many available that could make the impact that Bowe could.

Also, since WR takes so long to develop it might be prudent to start getting him ready now so we can make our Super Bowl run(s) in the next 2-3 years.

I've been a Huge Dwayne Bowe fan for sometime. LSU seems to produce very good WRs.........Josh Reed & Devery Henderson to name a few. If Bowe is the BPA at #25, I'd have no problem with Jets' taking him. IMO, it's shortsighted to pass up such a talent and reach for a need. If Carriker or Moss is still on the board, I'd take either. It may all be a moot point, Bowe's stock is soaring.

I wouldn't be opposed to taking a WR with our first second round pick if Rice or Bowe was still there. I don't think we should use the first rounder on a WR, especially since there are too many other needs that could have good players available for us--Woodley, Moss, Carriker, Tyler..

i dont want Moss or Tyler. after I heard the reports of Moss' emotional problems that kept him off the field. No, I'll pass. And Tyler taking massive playtime off with a questionable motor. No thank you.

Woodley should be taken if available, but I expect him to be gone by 20.

Carriker I'd draft in a heartbeat. But with his size I doubt he lasts till our pick.

If Carriker is off the board I would take Bowe, Rice, Justin Blalock, Buster Davis (that way we could rotate Barton and Hobson at OLB).

it all depends whos on the board. someone will fall to us.

And people who think we shouldnt draft WR. we could miss out on some great prospects if we pass on Rice or Bowe. Also, you have to remember, McCareins is McCareins, Coles might have to retire early, Smith is still young, Dwight is probably gone.

Coles might be gone in 3 yrs, Draft his replacement now. have us stocked and loaded with weapons in the future for when our Defense actually solidifies

Oh I definitely agree we should draft a WR. However, I think that pass rush and NT, along with the o-line, are much bigger needs and should be addressed first. But if Tyler is gone NT is out of the question in the draft, and we should grab an OLB if Woodley/Moss is still there at 26 and then a WR at 37, where I think a good one might slip since this is such a dominant WR class. Another WR to look at for possibly the third round is Paul Williams from Fresno St...

Especially if Coles decides to get itchy feet again.
