Monday Morning QB (cont.) Posted: Monday October 23, 2006 10:56AM; Updated: Monday October 23, 2006 12:28PM - - - The Fine Fifteen - - 15. (tie) Pittsburgh (2-4). This team is too good to give up on. I refuse to do it. And for the  Jets  fans who yell, "How can you have the Steelers here instead of us?" Simple: I believe the Steelers would win 24-17 on a neutral field in Scranton. ~ ~ ~ Ten Things I Think I Think ~ ~ h. All those who predicted the Jets would be three games north of the Dolphins on the opening weekend of the World Series, raise your hands. Put your hand down, Mrs. Mangini. ~ g. I know Leon Washington is 5-foot-8, but there have been enough backs in that size range (Joe Morris, Barry Sanders, Tiki Barber) that the Jets may have found their answer at running back. He's a dangerous guy in the open field. > http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/writers/peter_king/10/22/tiki.barber/4.html
I have learned to tune out basically everything reporters say about anything. These guys are the biggest bandwagon jumpers ever. Last week everyone said Michael Vick Sux, this week he is the best since Johnny Unitas.
Its funny, they ARE all over Vick this week. One good game in 5 years doesn't make him a good QB. Its his first NFl game with over 2 TD passes.....
Yea ur not lying....None of the sports reporters gave us a chance this coming season.....while we might not be a playoff team just yet they have 2 notice us....we play hard!! :finssuck:
they can't give a team they picked to go 4-12 at best any credit because it makes them look bad -- they can give us credit after week 10 when they can find excuses why other teams are fading due to injuries/schedule/coaching/luck and we are still winning
