Ugly wins are still wins and I'll take it. But what the F is up with our kickers. they suck. every week i seem to post the same thing. something needs to be done. If you count the miss FG/timeout during the raiders game, we've missed a FG in all our games. I don't feel any confidence in that unit (just the kicker really) that would make a FG a chipshot. I don't know the answer (nug isn't), but they have to start finding consistency. Not to mention we can barely kick the ball in the endzone on kickoffs. (i think we did it once yesterday). just venting.
We need nugent back, there was a time in 06 when he made like 20 in a row. He's the real deal, he's just banged up.
i have a problem with the counting a kick that didnt actually count to make your statement stronger. the one that counted was good. im still hoping that the giants cut one of their two kickers when tynes is healthy. carney has been very good for them, and when tynes returns should get cut because they just signed tynes to an extension. i would love to pick up one of those two guys and just get rid of feely and nuge all together.
Sans about 5 years from Pat Leahy, who was also awful for many years, this team has struggled with kickers since Jim Turner...
Touchy Feely couldn't get it done! Bring back Nugent he wears #1! Even through they are shakey at times! We always pray when he has the game on the line!:shit:
Yeah pretty lame that he missed that chip shot. Even when he made the 52 yarder it was really close to the post and barely squeezed by. I really hope Nugent heals up soon so we can cut Feely and activate Clowney. I also wish we had a kicker that could kick the ball straight out of the endzone on kick offs like the pats kicker did to us earlier in the season. Feely doesn't even come close to kicking it out of the endzone or even making it past the 10 yard line half of the time and I don't remember Nugent ever kicking it that far. Wasn't Nugent known for having an amazing leg in college? What happened?

I don't know, I was never nervous when Nick Lowery took the field. But Feeley gives me the creeps every time the FG unit is called. I didn't feel that way with Nuge.
