It's on the frontpage. I can't provide a link since it's Macromedia. Also on the frontpage is a link to an article on chemistry that highly praises the Jets. Nice to see the Jets getting some mainstream recognition. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=clayton_john&id=2709181
Good, he deserves it. Its a shame that the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest since Rhodes has had a far better season than both Lynch and Polomalu.
Is it just me are has Rhodes been slipping lately? He's still very solid but he's not playing like the star he was in the first 6-7 games of the season.
It probably has to do with opponents wising up on Rhodes and realizing how the Jets like to use him in blitz packages. Against the Dolphins, he didn't manage to bring down McMichael, who scored the TD after breaking Rhodes' tackle, but other than that, he's been playing well. Besides, it's sorta unfair to expect a safety to be able to tackle a TE solo, anyway.
Instead of getting sacks when he rushes the passer, he's been keyed on, but still, almost every time, he tips the QBs pass.... It's incredible how often it happens....
good to see kerry getting some love....he personifies the word they used for him on draftday. ballhawk.
he makes every all pro team as the best safety in the afc but he cant make the pro bowl team (which includes 3 safeties). pathetic
I remember alot of us were complaining on draft day when we traded up 4 slots to get him and gave up a 6th round pick to move up...
Teams are really avoiding his side of the field and he's being keyed on, on blitzes. He's essentially become a "shut down" safety.
