He has gotten a lot of shit this year.. especially from this board.. and I was definitely guilty of bashing him myself... But he has been making plays all game.. coming up and made a huge hit.. had that sack.. and now just went up and recovered the onside kick.. Way to be Kerry.. maybe the trade rumors that all seemed to always include rhodes will quiet down.... for now..
He played a good game, nothing too special. On his sack he wasn't even ,and he started celebrating before the play was over, extremely immature. Thats just Kerry trying to promote himself. He cares more about himself then this team. Most importantly he still can't lay a hit on anyone. He never squares up and runs full speed at the guy with the ball. He played a good game, but he isnt the elite Safety he thought he would become.
What frustrates me most about Rhodes is that he really is a playmaker. Two great plays by him today that locked up the game. I was furious when he started dancing around while the ball was still loose, but now - whatever.. let bygones be bygones.
When the lights are on Rhodes becomes a star... He plays his best on National TV in the most visible games of the year. Who gives a fuck, the lights are on from here on out. Lets turn his ass loose baby!
I give Rhodes a buncha shit!! But he stepped up today!! Hopefully he can step up again next week...Go Jets!!
I knew Rhodes was going to make a play today(empty notion, I know)! That strip sack was sick. He brought everything on that play.
