Isnt he supposed to be a pretty damn good slot receiver?

So who's left to sign, just K Ellis?

Yup Ellis the only unsigned DP for us right now.

While Jets fans are still fuming over nnamdi and over not having signed anybody new today... getting our DP's in the fold is an important step.

Do you guys think we will be ok with Cotchery as the #2 if we don't get a new WR?

Marks USC buddy Patrick Turner has nice height/speed (6'5" 220lbs) and chemistry with Mark from their USC days

then there is this kid the 5th rounder and the 7th rounder Scotty McKnight and Santonio

and LOGAN PAYNE must be added into the equation. We are a GROUNG & POUND team. why do we need two high priced receivers? we need a safety more after we sign CRO( fingers crossed)

I think we have to add another veteran WR, even if it's a #3 guy...Kerley, McKnight, Turner are too inexperienced to go into camp with them as the 3-4-5 WRs IMO.

Yes, supposedly he looked real good in the rookie camps.

Yes, I know it was in shorts, just saying.

I agree. With the lockout being so long and these kids not getting time to learn the playbook, we'd be fools for throwing them out to the lions. You saw what happened to Eli and his young receiving corp last year, all those messed up routes. The last thing Mark needs is a gaggle of young receivers screwing up their routes.

Heck of a special teams player too. Should be the team's punt returner(With Jim coming off the injury he had) and could fill the void that Brad Smith left when he was the kick returner.

Might have been a Westoff pick.

Well that's good to know. I've been kind of worried about losing a guy like Brad Smith in our return game, but if Kerley is a guy that Westhoff thinks can come in and fill that spot, than I am all for it. If he happens to have better hands than Brad Smith, then it's even better.

I don't think he is a kick returner type. I don't think he is the speedy enough. (straight line)

It's pretty hard to have worse hands than Brad Smith at WR. This kid's got game.
