Here is a appreciation thread for these guys who aren't always super flashy, but always seem to do the little things right.

Kerley should be mr 3rd down

Powell is a solid back that gets little love, feed the man.

    I like your avatar.

Also, I really hope we keep Kerley around. I may overestimate him as a Jets fan, but just imagine if he wanders off to Green Bay or the Broncos and becomes a complete stud. Let's keep him for consistency sake at the very least.

Yes they are nice players that make some plays, especially Kerley.....but they are still complement type guys that need to be surrounded by even better players which serves 2 purposes.....draws the attention away from them which allows them to make that critical 3rd down.....

If the jets had a real true #1 WR and or RB, these guys would be even more effective and really make the offense a threat.

These threads are so silly. Lets make a Kyle Wilson one next to celebrate his tenure here...

J-Kerl, much appreciation he's a good ball player. Powell is solid but not much would be lost if he isn't on the team to be honest.

This could have been written about ANY player. "If the guys playing around him demanded more attention from the defense he could be ever better". No shit.

Those are my guys. Kerley must be retained it is imperative. And Powell is very under appreciated he isn't as expendable as some think.

God. We're talking about Kerley if he's Megatron. Powell gets how many carries?

He ended the last two seasons with a good number of yards. And he's a good blocker and reciever for a HB.

No one is calling Kerley our Megatron. He is our new Cotchery/Chrebet.

I love Kerley but the guy's gotta stop bitching for a flag with every pass he doesn't catch .

The guy Kerely most reminds me of is Davone Bess. Hopefully we can get that kind of production from him over the next few years. I think he was about to break out last year before the elbow injury.

Hard to argue with either player getting props. Neither is a star at their position, but it would be hard to ask for more from 4th and 5th round picks. Guys in the Leon W, Cotchery, B Smith mold usually provide more than their share of big plays during the course of a season. All the while flying under the radar...

It was OB because Geno threw a dogshit pass, but Are you kidding me with that last catch?? That's two weeks in a row he's come up with a great catch with the game on the line. This guy is a very good receiver.

Jeremy Kerely can play on my team any time.
