I can imagine its due to Dixon being inconsistent in DeVito's absence.

He's a much better role player than full time starter.

Ellis will give the DL a much needed youth infusion. I love this kids first step off the line. He should help gather double teams with his size.

Great to see that he's starting but when did we lose to Buffalo?

When Mark Sanchez threw the pick in the end zone at the end of the game. The media and fans have been pissed off and ripping him all week for that. The loss was clearly on him.

If anything the kid is a monster and will force runs outside more. Also I loved in the preseason how he was always looking at the QB and was able to bat a couple passes down. Anyone hear anything about him improving at all because I really don't hear anything about him since the season started.

Maybe they mean Denver...Anyways, does it mean anything that we will be having 2 NT playing on the line or are the positions pretty much interchangeable?

    He's coming alone well.

He had the ankle thing when he just got going. So now that he's healthy and I can imagine doing well in practice, he's earned the chance to start.

I think Pouha might get offered a short deal. He doesn't have much left in him.

I think he for sure gets signed. The guy has not been playing football long and he is a very underrated NT. Hes not the guy who is going to break through double teams like Kris Jenkins but he is a force in the run game.

He's 32, and I've said this enough - 32 is 32 no matter how much football you play. Your body breaks down the same way. He's going to lose a step in the next year or in 2013. Ellis has to be ready to take the reigns by then.

I think he still starts next year with a platoon of Ellis to spell him at times. After that hopefully ELlis is ready to take the reigns and Pouha is still here as a 4th D linemen and backup NT. 32 is old but don't discount the wear and tear that years more of football would have done to him. I think Pouha still has a few solid years left in him and he hasn't shown me anything so far this year that would make me think otherwise.

I'm pretty sure it was postponed until after the season.
