This is my first thread I created, but I figured it's worthy news because this guy has been trash! Even though he's been waived with an injury designation, hopefully it's one step closer to him being gone for good. McDougle has been called up from the P.S. Normally, an Idzik 12 being called up isn't really an upgrade, but calling up anyone at the expense of Kellen Davis is a net improvement! http://www.espn.com/blog/new-york-j...-less-te-kellen-davis-sign-cb-dexter-mcdougle
Man does that suck for him though. They really waited til 11:30 on Saturday night prior to game day to cut the poor guy.
DEX! Finally. Hopefully he gets some meaningful snaps, I'd love for him to get a shot as the starter. Especially over those other bums. And thank God Kellen is gone. Two birds with one stone, I like it.
I'm sure he had good plays, but I honestly can't remember one. Every time I noticed him on the field, it seems, he was doing something badly. In an era where tight ends can be devastating weapons (they always seem to be against us), the best we could trot out was this empty uniform.
Hard to evaluate our TE's when our Ancient Coordinator has no idea how to utilize them. Sidebar: Davis did suck though...
If you want to pin his miserable two years here on the coordinator , go check out how he was in Chicago. Guy legitimately got booed off the field in one game. He's actually one of the worst football players I've ever seen. He was a blocking tight end that couldn't block and had the hands of a nose tackle. We will not miss him one bit.
Oh no who's going to be in for 65 plays and drop the only pass to him and miss almost every block. I reiterate what Chad Cascadden said " Davis can't catch, but at least he can't block!"
See my sidebar... Macc needs to step up his personnel evaluation game PDQ. Some of his signings have become really expensive reaches.
This photo always made me laugh.......dude looks like he could make a mean large Italian pie at Papa Joe's, not a "world class athlete."
Davis is the poster child for the saying looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. I've never seen a TE get pushed around like he does, even WFH the human turnstile put up a better effort than Davis.
