chaps @UncleChaps 2 h2 ore faVisualizza traduzione #Rams not done. Case Keenum traded to the #Jets for a 4th rounder in 2017. This guy is a writer for NFL.com (Or probably not... mmm) and it doesn't seem all that crazy neither for the Jets nor for the Rams. That said Keenum counts 3.6 Mln against the cap with his 1st rd tender so it does take away quite a bit of cap space. Thoughts? Insurance? Future back-up? Competing with Geno for starting spot? Bad news for Fitz that's for sure, at least leverage-wise. Was brought in by the Houston Texans with Maccagnan (who didn't actually use a draft pick on him) running the scouting so I'm sure he has a pretty strong opinion on the guy. They were also in the same building for a couple of years.
What does Incarcerated Bob have to say on this topic? At this point I just want Fitz to sign so we can stop being "linked" to every second-rate QB in NFL history.
That post says he WAS traded. I don't find that anywhere else yet. I'd be surprised if the Rams trade him now. They still need a starting QB this year. None of the guys coming out are ready to be starters on day 1.
I'd assume Keenum will still start for the Rams in 2016. Give whoever they draft time to learn. At least a few games. Maybe half a season. Maybe not though, as it is 2016 and they march the #1 picks out usually.

Only worth a trade if we can restructure just like what we did with Clady. TEAM OPTION after next season.
