Jets fan since 1981. Season Ticket Holder since 2000. Hater of all things Miami Dolphin. I was in the endzone seats and watched Dan Marino throw the fake spike pass right by a clueless Aaron Glenn. I know all about the "same old jets", the collapses, the namath curse, the disasterous coach hirings, Kyle Mackey, Blair Thomas ( I had a jersey).

There have been some bright spots that have kept me going over the years. Some of them have been certain players that were a light in otherwise dark times...such players as Dennis Byrd, Wayne Chrebet, Adrian Murrell, Mickey Shuler, Leon Washington and first and foremost the classiest, hardest working, proudest-to-wear-the green-and-white-ever ....Chad Pennington.

I have never rooted for anyone playing against the Jets and I never will again, but this week all of us fans that liked what Chad represented to this organization and hate what greedy, no-loyalty corporate America represents will be rooting for Chad to stick it to the MAN.

You gotta admit, this is something out of Hollywood.

Lets cast the parts for this movie ...

Eric Mangini ... played by Turtle from Entourage.

I loved Chad as much as anyone, "winnning player" plain and simple. To even think I might root for him against the Jets this week is nuts. If you bleed green and white you hope all breaks so we get in playoffs plain and simple.
Lets not kid ourselves- as soon as Parcells see's Henne as ready to lead Miami, he will dump Chad as unceremoniously as we did. Its a business ok.

Chad Pennington represents Communism? I don't get it? If Chad was the man how are we sticking it to the man by rooting for the man to stick it to the man? The man never gets stuck the man is the one sticking it to the fans.

If you want to stick it to the man don't buy the mans crap, don't buy tickets to the games, PSL's and don't watch the games.

1-15 to Division Champs...i think Chad has some time in Miami. Its hard to except Chad haters, but he was not the problem and you were all wrong. This organization deserves a statement from the fans. They are beyond greedy with their 2 team stadium PSLs, Brett Favre Publicity stunts, Over-marketed ugly titan jerseys and "lets copy the Patriots" business plan. They needed some egg on their face. I wish everone could return all those Favre jerseys and hit Woody where he lives.

In this story Chad Pennington is not a multi-million dollar athlete who can buy and sell my middle class ass, he is the employee whos years of service were unappreciated and he was unceramoniously fired as a scapegoat for corporate mismanagement.

Woody is the MAN. Tanny is the MAN. Mangini is the creepy guy in accounting that always smells like raisins.

They don't need egg on their face for failing or the Dolphins succeeding if we continue to buy the shit. The fans need to stop buying the crappy Titans uniforms the Jets uniforms and boycott the PSL's. I have no issue with management doing what they believed is right to make the team better. That has nothing to do with the fans being chumps to corporate greed. What's the difference between winning the SB and going 9 & 7 as far as being a chump for the owner, players and network greed?

The Dolphins fans are going to be ripped off just as much as Jet fans are when the go out and buy the Dolphins Pennington shirts vs a Jets fan buying a Titans Favre shirt.

If we went 12 and 4 and won the SB you would have been just as ripped off buying the Favre shirt and the PSL.

The OP is a new low for Chad Fans. It's like following the economic news. Where is the bottom? Rooting for Miami, and calling yourself a Jet fan?

The wheels have definitely come off the wagon now.

Brother you got to hang in there and keep the faith. I have been a Dolphin fan since 1970 and I have had some tough years, especially last year.

What are you worried about? Aren't you convinced that Penny can't win big games? Weak arm and stuff.

Sunday has the potential to be a great day. We need to win and we got two chances in the other games to make the playoffs. It's disappointing it came to this, but it is what it is. You go into Sunday wanting to pummell Pennington, knock Miami out of the playoffs, win 10 games, and hope one of the other games goes our way....and that's the ONLY thing a J!E!T!S! fan should be thinking. If you're going into Sunday rooting for Pennington to beat the Jets....you're lame. I liked Chad too, but he's not on the team anymore so F him. Should we have kept him?....doesn't matter. We didn't. End of story.

    J!E!T!S! JETS! JETS! JETS!
