Our offense needs playmakers. What he did was bad, but many players have done worse things and have gotten second chances. Sign him.
It would be stupid not to put in a waiver claim. He comes cheap and while on this “exempt” list he wouldn’t even count against the 53 man roster.
I applaud the Chiefs for releasing him that fast. He is a really talented and young RB. I don't think every team would have released him even if he lied to them. As for the Jets: No thanks. I am interested to see what happens next for Hunt though, but coming to New York would be bad for him and the Jets.
Honestly I'm torn. I'd rather not go there BUT we already have so many clowns as it is, now we're gonna draw the line with one of the best players in the league when we have employed doofuses like Sheldon, Robby Anderson, etc?
This is a no brainer. This guy can really pack a punch and would be the kick in the rear that this offense needs.
Kid's a stud and will come cheap til his rookie contract is up. He's worth a flier without a doubt. Something tells me better organizations will be in on him too though.
