So I'm watching the game last night and I suddenly realized Kakko has arrived. Every time he is on the ice the Rangers are suddenly dangerous. Part of that is he is playing with Zibanejad and part of that is he is getting some real time on PP2. However a big part of that is that he plays hard every second he's on the ice. He makes mistakes now and then but he is also a tough defensive forward to play around and he does an excellent job of holding the puck on the boards. It's a little frustrating that the good shots he's taking now aren't getting into the net but that's just luck. I think the Rangers have found their #1 RW. That's the first time I've felt that way since he was drafted.
