Justin Tucks new face mask

Good, but not as good as John Williams' facemask.

 

Is this real?

 

Absolutely. That's not the first excessively cagey mask in NFL history.

 

i really liked the one he wore last year!

Ray Brown had a crazy one too.

Two more years and it'll look the way it should.

 

There is no way the nfl alows that. If someone gets a finger stuck in there, it'll get snapped in half.

 

Does he think it scares people or something? That's the best thing I can come up with.

 

Read last night that he switched face masks midway through last season because he had a neck injury and thought guys were deliberately reaching up inside his mask and twisting his head.

If anyone tries that now, they'll probably only be able to count to eight or nine.

 

Tell me he doesn't look badass in this

I know you might think I hate it b/c he is a Giant but I'd hate it if it was Pouha or some other Jet. I think that facemask looks ridiculous as did the one last year. I'm more of a traditional guy w/ facemasks, I also hate the revolution helmet facemasks.

 

Nah, I was just joking about you being an old fuddy-duddy and not liking his new fangled facemask. I think he looks like Optimus Prime with that thing on. In fact, I saw this posted on a Giants' board and I think it backs me up....

 

I am an old fuddy duddy:smile::sad:, I'll be 40 in a few years.

 

I think the point of the cage is so that fingers can't get in there.

So he can't get facemasked.

 

The league will definitely allow it.
