That is funny, I didn't see it either. Sadly it's true.

If you remember back on this kid, he was one of the highest rated CB's to come out that year. Sensational physical skills. In spite of the fact that he had some police contacts he was considered a mid 1st round pick. The week of the draft, he was arrested at a party for refusing to disperse when ordered to by the police. Not to smart on draft week.

He fell to the 2nd round. I was thrilled when the Jets took him. He didn't seem to get much brighter, and didn't take to the coaching real well. He tried to rely on his speed and physical skills only. He didn't fare to well.

Then last year he scored a 1st round knock out on some broad at 3am. Looked like his career might be over. He fell deeply into Mangini's dog house. Through the spring, and early summer, there were many articles how hard he was working to get out of the dog house. Watching film, and showing up for team events that he didn't have to. Showing up for rookie only things. It seemed to work. On opening day he unbelievably was the starter, then blew his knee up in the second game. Mangini looked up set in the following presser.

If this kid can return 100%, and still has the same attitude he seemed to have last summer, Miller can be a hell of a lot more then a dime back. He has all the physical skills you could ask for. All his problems were between his ears. I'm really hoping he can become #2. That would have a major impact having 2 shut down CB's with the pass rush I hope we also will have.

That explains allot, I did not remember all of that about him.

Anyway I hope he can still be a pro bowl returner and become a decent corner, we need him to step up.
