Justin McCareins and Justin Gage ran as the Titans' starting wide receivers at minicamps last week.

Roydell Williams might've been in there if he was healthy. For now, it looks like the Titans' tentative top three is McCareins, Williams, and Gage with Lavelle Hawkins, Brandon Jones, Mike and Paul Williams, and Chris Davis having ground to cover. There's a lot of mediocrity in this receiver group.

:rofl2::breakdance::lol: Poor Vince Young.

ha ha Vince Young is screwed! that should have been the Titans top priority, getting VY some weapons in the passing game, not drafting an RB in the top 2 rounds for the 3rd straight year....

Who will have a better chance at being the cause of an incompletion? Nice play by Revis or McCareins' hands?

If we play them, he would score 2 touchdowns against us.

No worries. Now that McMissedit is back with the Titans and Heimerdof, er, Heimerschlock, whatever, he'll become the next Jerry Rice. Not a winning combo here, but over there? It's the stuff of legends! Mark me. And not with a Sharpie.

wouldnt it have made more than substantial sense to draft limas sweed and reunite young with him. or at least any recieving target.

i love how they draft vince young and give him no weapons. what a horrible handling of a good prospect.

they'll win 8 games this year. They could've won 10, but McCareins dropped 3 potential GW TDs for them.... sound familiar.

remains to be seen...he showed flashes of old last year, but couldn't do it consistently throughout the season.

ok based upon the only added weapon for Young is Crumpler they still will be troublesome because for whatever the heck reason they find a way to win. but really if Mccareins can go from being the worst 3rd reciever in the NFL for the last 2-3 years, to the Titans number one, this is not exactly a step up in the reciever corps fro VY...

Honestly, these dudes could have drafted any wide receiver they wanted. Even if for some ridiculous reason they thought Devin Thomas was overrated, they could have traded down and got ANYBODY! I don't like Vince Young, but god damn: how coiuld you not help but feel sorry for him?

In his defense Vick had wrapped dead dogs around the ball

The RB made sense for the Titans. There offense revolves around their running game, Vince youngs legs, and their defense. You can upgrade the WR position, as much as you want, and its not going to make a Vince Young a more accurate passer. Not to mention, no wr is coming in, and making any immediate impact for his team. Going to take at least two years.

Mccarreins is going to be a pretty good weapon for the Titans. So yuou can laugh all you want now. The titans wil have the last laugh.

wow. You shit on every Jets player yet you're going to give love to McCairens when he goes to another team. He was one of the worst players on the 4-12 team last year.

I can't wait to hear your retarded justification on this one.

Let me guess - something right out of Goldilocks and the Three Bears?
"Pennington threw it to sft for him and Clemens throws it too hrd, vince young throws it juuuuust right."

Dude: Goldilocks and the Three Bears.

But Raiderjoe is a total moron. Its like he thinks of the most ludicrous thing he can think of to post: "The Titans have a strong running game, so it makes sense that they drafted a runningback." Sure thing, Jeaux.

Has anybody ever really investigated this raiderjoe character? I'm pretty sure he's Al Davis.
