Adam Schefter Jets’ Pro-Bowl special teamer Justin Hardee suffered a hamstring injury that required surgery Friday and now is expected to sideline him 4-to-6 weeks, per sources. Hardee hurt it Sunday, aggravated it at practice, then underwent surgery and is expected to be placed on IR today.
Hamstring surgery? How is that not done for the year? That usually means it detached from the bone. I’d guess he doesn’t play again this year.
I want it understood I gave you a "like" for reporting it, not because I like the bad news contained within.
My guess is a preventative surgery for a partially torn hammy. Trying not to let it tear from the bone. The report said he re-aggravated it in practice so imaybe it wasn't a complete tear. I'm only partially talking out if my ass since I had a similar procedure recommended for me.
They traveled the day before. Should have been in Denver earlier. Muscle Tightness due the trip is most likely.
