Those were good times indeed. :)

The team was not that much better than they are now. Probably worse.

I have no clue what has happened in 2007 thus far, but I know the team has talent.

I am glad I tape games so I can watch my team actually succeed.

I think the future of the team is bright, I have no clue how they are 1-6.

I think Jets fans need to keep the faith with Mangini.

He must have a plan for the future and you have to believe he knows what he is doing.

I know some of you tape games, if so, watch this game. Put a smile on your face.

Now, if you want to cry, go watch the highlights on nfl.com of Jets Steelers '04. But first watch the Chargers one to see how we almost blew that one out of thin air.

It hit me today that we won't being playing any meaningful games come next month....at least if they played Kellen, I wouldn't be some what excited to go to this weekends game...

The difference between this year and last yr:

Last year we won the close games, this year we lose the close games. The teams are about equal, we're just not getting lucky like last yr with holding on when it's close. We always won the close games against "bad" teams last yr, now we are getting beat in the 4th quarter instead of the other way around.

Hahaha. Thing is, 'Jets' and 'good old' days don't really belong in the same sentence for the most part. That is an awesome dog, by the way.

The Raiders didn't have the #1 pick in this year's draft for no reason, you know.

I gotta say: anybody who is judging the 2006 Jets by their performance against a 2-14 team that finished dead last in offense in the NFL is probably planning to go bathe in kool-aid next?

If you really want to watch a Jets/Raiders game put in the 2001 Jets/Raiders game. It's much more enjoyable.

The John Hall win, not the playoff game right? Haha, yeah that was a good game.

N-o-o-o-o. I'm very sorry about that. Dogs rule. I tell my dogs secrets. They never tattle. My one dog, Luna, there's even a song I love with her in it:

    "Hey, there, Luna
    I'd like to tell ya
    How sad am I
So love sick I could die

    Needing water
My neck's stiff, my head hurts
    Been looking up all night
Been looking at the Moon, she's so bright..."

Either folks get the transcendency or they don't. She had a major illness in July of '06, and she's stricken again. Bladder stuff. Surgery. She's old, and I may have to make a dreaded decision in the coming months. We'll see.

    EDIT:

By the way, I love Loki's "headlights" (eyebrow markers). Those are the chit. My other dog has them. They dance with inquiry all the time.

Sorry to hear about your dog. Our lab is getting up there in years and now has a bladder problem. Hormones worked at first but she seems to be regressing again. We often wonder is she is 'shutting down'. But we hope for the best and try to keep her comfortable.

I completely agree with you, however, I am afraid that if we lose many more games that a lot of our talent will place blame and go to another franchise next year.
I believe that we have a bright future, but only if our key and future "star" players can stick around.
