Just played David Clowney in Madden, and we talked the whole game it was pretty cool. He said that he's not in KC and could end up back on the Jets after Week 1 and he pretty much said Coles is done. I asked him how the fuck Drew Coleman makes the roster and he started cracking up and then caught himself and said "uhh..special teams" Lance Moore dropped a wide open pass and he starts ranting on "And I can't get a job??" Also when he missed an extra point he said that if he were the coach he'd cut that guy the next morning, and I told him better then getting cut on the field right? He laughed. It sounded like he didn't like Westhoff too much... I asked him if any players read TGG or anything and he said no they don't pay attention to it Overall pretty cool....final score was 62-55
Nah he chose the Saints so I went with the Colts to make it even. (which is why the score was so high) The updated rosters came in today so Clowney isn't on the Jets, or I definitely would have.
Pretty cool, I think another poster also played against Clowney a few years ago. Maybe Drew, not sure. Must have been pretty sweet chatting with him the whole game. I can definetly see Clowney as being laid back and chatting with fans.
How do you even prove you played against an NFL player? He comes on as DavidClowney87 and you assume it is him?
Moore is very effective on curls, digs, slants, and quick outs. Clowney seems to only be good at corner and fly routes. He's just not an inside the numbers type of receiver. Basically, Clowney is a one trick pony.
I know it was him because I got his gamertag(not DavidClowney87) off his official twitter page a year or 2 ago, and I talked to him the whole game and after watching Hard Knocks I think I can recognize the voice. And after talking to him the whole game the stuff he knew just made it more certain it was him.
I met David Clowney at the NFL Pinball Palooza in Delray Beach, FL during the Super Bowl last year. He was really nice guy and I hope he gets picked up again by some team.
