Denzel Mim's agent has been sending Douglas some videos of Mims working out and Joe Douglas was very impressed. Might alter the Jet's draft strategy.

I just heard that Joe Douglas’s wife liked whatever was on those videos even more than Joe Douglas.
It’s too early to count him out. And the staff should not have put him in the dog house like they did.
I have no problem with the CS being blunt with Mims or Becton as long as the criticism is fair, specific Fingers crossed for both of these guys
Agreed, videos of Mims' workouts should not affect their plans for drafting players based on videos of their workouts
JD was deciding between a #1 WR or a back up punter. This Mims update will make his decision so much easier.
If Denzel's agent isn't hyping him up, then he shouldn't be his agent at all. Or anyone's agent for that matter. Anyway, Denzel's main problem was his brains, not his 40 times.
yes, I thought that the Mims issue was more related to his inability to learn the route tree for each WR spot.....
I saw a Saleh NFL interview prior to the combine and he said Mims was hampered by injury and illness last season and he expects Mims to be ready to play this season and a big contributor to the offense. I hope it's not just words. We'll see.
Wilson's last Instagram post has a picture of Mims running a route on it and boy does that guy look ripped right now. Still have the lowest possible expectations for him.
It's just words to hopefully raise his value. The guy was behind Smiths, Black, Montgomery last year. Could not learn the play book. Was running out of bounds towards the end of the year. Yes, he has some injuries, but they don't explain being 7th/8th on the WR chart behind total scrubs. I know hope is always there, but it's very little at this point.
If Mims' workout alters the draft plans, it would be in terms of using the 3rd rounder or a Day 3 pick on a second WR. No way it would affect how they handle the first round.
This means nothing and possibly less than nothing. Talking up a specific player is what good trading GM's like Douglas do when they want to get rid of them.
This year will hopefully be Mimms first healthy off-season and training camp. I am not sure he is a fit for the system but a healthy off season should give him a much better chance this year to not get left behind.
