Thank you, Chad ...too bad injuries and coaching/front office ineptitude robbed you of a better career with the Jets. thanks, dude.
Thank you Chad, for some of the worst memories of my life*. Go away now. *And a very very very select few of good ones, there's your tiny credit. Go away.
I am a Big Chad fan and thinks he got a bad rap but that said, thank you. Ughh, it was only a matter a time
Thanks Chad, thanks for the class and dignity, thanks for taking a beating and never complaining, playing hurt. Thanks for 2002.
I liked Chad when he started playing, but as his career progressed, it became pretty obvious that he just wasn't the guy who would ever take this team to the promised land. He just doesn't have it. He's a nice guy and all but.... bye, Chad!
Chad you were the man, leading us out of hell in 2002 and leading us to the playoffs in 04 and 06. You just don't have what it takes to play in the nfl anymore, and we've moved on. Good luck in minnesota!
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I don't think they could bring $12mm in salary without finding a new home for the $6mm in cap space Chad is eating right now.
True, I just hope there is a team out there who actually wants Noodle Arm. I don't imagine Tannenbaum's phone is ringing off the hook at the moment.
Screw Chad. Never has a player been as overrtated as Pennington. I will be so excited when he is finally traded or released. It cannot happen fast enough.
Dear Chad, When everyone was clamoring for Clemens last offseason, I had faith in you. When I really got into football, you were taking our team from a 1-4 start to a playoff birth. You were my favorite player. It's funny. When we drafted you, I wasn't all that into draft reports, but I watched the senior bowl, and remember telling my dad: I hope we draft this Pennington out of Marshall, he's going to be great. I know others might have questioned your arm strength but until midway through last season I would defend you. I thought you were a shining example to all of us kids that you don't need to be the best athlete to succeed; that you could do it through intellect and savvy. I'm sorry I gave up on you, Chad. It was tough for me, to finally accept that you were through. But the truth is this: I'm going to miss you. I think you'll go down as my favorite Jet. Thanks for the memories: that 41-0 win over the Colts, and that entire 2002 season. Nobody thought we could make the playoffs, but we showed them. Thanks for the upset against New England last year. I lived in New Hampshire at the time, and that win helped me stave off those asshole Pats fans. There's many more memories Chad, but I saw the Jets in person 4 times in my life. You started all 4, and we won all of them. I'll never forget how, back in 2006, we gasped when you got hit hard by the Texans, because without you, we knew our season was over. Chad, I wish you the best of luck wherever you call home next year, probably in Minnesota. And if the Jets can't win the Super Bowl, I hope you do. Thanks, Devon
