OK, we got 12 entries, so we’re going to shake up Round 1 to get to the regular brackets. The top eight entries get through to Round 2. The lowest 4 are knocked out and then we will go with a bracket of 8 for Round 2. The voting will go as follows: Each voter will vote for their top eight entries, based on the honor system. The entry is due Tuesday, June 6th. I will break any ties. ROUND 1 Your first assignment is to make a “retro” (60’s-80’s) sig. The dimensions can not be bigger than 450 wide x 200 height. Just a question about comprehension of the rules: can it look futuristic but be based around the retro logo, or is it supposed to look old as well?
Anything you want, as long as it has the retro logo. Now, some teams have the same logo, so make of it what you will, but I imagine people will vote for the "retro"-er looking sigs. Then again, I could be wrong. The entries I have received so far are really looking good, btw. You'll want to advance to Round 2 as it should be a really cool thing to make. I've had this idea for a while now.
