It must include the teams upcoming schedule for the 2006 season. They were not allowed to use animation in this round. The New York Jets and Miami Dolphins could not be used for this round. The wallpaper must include a player from the team they choose. Entry 1 Entry 2 ------------------------------ Entry 3 Entry 4
Couple of things that royally stand out. First of all, I can barely read the schedule in Entry 3, and that's not good since that should be a focus of the wallpaper. Not much effort was put in the schedule portion. Sure, the background is great, I totally love it, but Entry 4 is still respectable, and does give attention to the schedule. Also, and by far a huge no-no which shouldn't pass...in Entry 5, New Orleans is spelled incorrrectly. Yes, Wrong. They play the Saits twice, and the 9/25 meeting is listed as New Orleanes. Not cool!!
I just realized through a TGG chat that it wasn't just New Orleans that was butchered. Philly as well. Jeez. Some effort please.
Mister Moss, I agree with your comments. Philadelphia is also spelt incorrectly. Spell check is so important, guys...no excuse for that. I also agree that the schedule needs to be legible, since that is the whole purpose for the piece in the first place. I had a very hard time choosing between 4 and 8. Number 3 would have had my vote if they had all the team logos and dates in a strip at the top, similar to the Indy wallpaper. There just isn't enough attention drawn to the schedule. Whoever did #4 has my vote. It's very professional looking and sharp. Nice job!
Special props to whoever did #2 (Cowboys) It's now my husband's desktop! He thought it was that cool.
