during a pro bowl interview, for no reason stated that he wants out of carolina.now he would cost a hefty amount.but how great would it be to replace coleman with him
oh yea idk how that would work out,but i forgot he wants to change to a 3-4 team so we would fit his want
I wonder what was his relationship with Jenkins was in Carolina? I've seen reports that Jenkins was calling out Peppers in Carolina, and that Jenkins was best friends with him... who knows?
No clue on the Jenkins/Peppers relationship. Someone told me they hate each other, who knows... I assumed Peppers would stand up an be a OLB in a 3-4 but a few people have been telling me he'd be a DE.... He definitely has the speed and athletisism to stand up though.
Peppers is a pipe dream.... I hate to ruin everyone's xmas this early...but if you expect the Jets to go on a spending spree like they did last offseason...then you're in for some disappointment...because it's not going to happen.
We can't sign every FA there is (Peppers, Canty, Ray Lewis, Bart Scott, B McFadden, S Jones, OJ Atogwe etc) Peppers will not be a Jet...
As nice as it would be to sign ANY of these big ticket FAs, ultimately the Jets should not only be ok, but be HIGHLY competitive next season if the only acquisitions they make this entire offseason are through the draft. Getting FAs to supplement a team are nice, getting big ticket FAs are even nicer, but Super Bowl teams are built through the draft, not FA.
So Ditka vs. a hurricane...but the hurricane's name is Ditka? Peppers is 283lbs, how does he expect to play OLB?
That puts him 13 pound heavier then Pace. I could see him dropping a little weight and being an excelent OLB in the 34. He still has freaky Athletism for a big man. He could easily make the transition.
