    the logical reason is simple

if our QB was Chad Pennington people would probably think we're a playoff team. The talent on our team other then QB and WR is playoff caliber IMO.

But because we have a rookie QB and not a lot of stars on offense we don't get much love. Seems like ESPN has no one picking the Jets. No one even picked them 2nd in the division! The other sites like SI and fox have a few people that like the Jets.

I was really sad to see that no one even picked us 2nd.

I think a lot of people are gonna be surprised as to how much Sanchez can and will get accomplished on the field. What I'm mostly afraid of is Sanchez getting a great jump out the gate, and then the entire fan base coming down on him for his 1st terrible game.

I'll try to make sure and avoid that week here on TGG.

I get what you're saying, but why be upset about "expert" rankings? They have no bearing on the season. We have three markings of a struggling team at QB/WR/HC; analysts are obviously going to focus on that.

Transition year. Anything good that happens is icing on the cake. At least I haven't heard the word re-building these days. The Jets have been re-building since before Joe Namath got crippled in college.
