This article crashes miserably when this Joyner homo said Losman fails as a game-managing quarterback. ...that's exactly what Rex Ryan wants - a game manager.
No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No No Nooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!! No!
no fucking way if hes that great than why did he lose his job to TRENT EDWARDS of all people?[once again stats dont mean shit!]
I would take a chance with Losman, he is young with some experience and still has potential. You can't say that about any other FA QBs and sometimes a change of scenery jump starts a QBs career. I'm still hoping we get lucky in the draft and one of the top two QBs falls to 17, which I am now starting to feel could be a possibilty, especially if Detroit passes on a QB at the top. If not though I would take Losman over any of the other retread FA QBs.
while i do not not want Losman here, i'm wondering what you've seen from Clemens to come to that conclusion?
I'd bring in Losman. He won't be too expensive. He's still young and has played well in the NFL before. Let him be the fallback plan if Clemens fails.
I would have no problem w/ Losman. I think he's alot better than people think and would be a cheap vet to compete w/ our young guys. I'd still hope Ratliff or Clemens beat him out but I'd be comfortable going into camp w/ those 3 QBs.
I would be OK with it in the competitive atmosphere as you say; I just wouldn't want to sign him and immediately annoint him 1st QB.
I don't think that would ever happen. I think they want a vet to come in and compete w/ Ratliff and Clemens.
