Anyone seen this guy play? I only read some scout reports and articles about him, seems to be well worth a shot.

36 TDs, 1 INT. 72% competions. this year
6,586 yards, 70 TDs, 13 INTs the past two seasons.
Also rushed for more than 700 yards in 2006

and from the articles i read, seems to be a good, smart kid.

I have watched tape on him and he is an amazing NFL QB prospect! He won the East West Shine game MVP mainly because he has great running ability for a QB, but don't let that fool you into thinking he is a Michael Vick clone who is more of an athlete than a QB. He looks to make things happen through the air before he runs and has perfect ball placement. The most overlooked aspect of being a QB is the ability to put the ball where only the receiver can make the catch, and that is what he excels at. The reason why he only threw 1 int all season is his ability to put the ball exactly where it needs to be. He has NFL arm strength, but he will need to bulk up to with stand NFL hits. His release point is high an tight, which is good because he is between 6'2" and 6'3". He was coached up by ex-San Diego coach and former NFL QB Jim Harbaugh who he gives a ton of credit for developing him into not just a player who can dominate small school competition because of natural ability but into a QB who is is aware of the idiosyncrasies that make good players great. His only downside(other than the obvious small school knock) is that he is more of a quiet and reserved but confident leader than the more charismatic media friendly QB type. Work ethic is not a problem and he appears to love football. If this kid played at a big time university he would be the number one overall player taken in the draft. No QB is ready to come in and start day one(exception Big Ben) but in three years from now he will be a starter in the NFL and future all-pro.
